Juno Platform · US & UK

Consumer lending, in the US and the UK.

Juno is one platform with two editions. In the US it runs state-licensed installment lending, with every state’s rules sitting on top of federal law. In the UK it runs consumer lending and consumer asset-based finance under the Consumer Credit Act. Both share the same core, so the audit trail, documents, security and private AI work the same way on either side of the Atlantic.

Choose your market

For state-licensed lenders making small-dollar installment loans. Each state’s rate and fee limits sit in a rules engine on top of federal law. The APR is calculated the way Reg Z requires, a loan can’t be originated until its TILA disclosure has gone out, and borrowers repay by ACH or payroll deduction. Reg B notices, MLA and SCRA checks and Reg F collection limits are part of the same system.

Why US lenders run on Juno

Every state in one rules engine
State rules carry effective dates and sit on top of the federal rules. Rate caps, fee caps, minimum terms and rebate limits are worked out for each loan across 53 jurisdictions, and every answer shows the rule and statute it came from.
Disclosure before disbursement
The APR is calculated with the Reg Z Appendix J method and the TILA disclosure goes out before the loan exists. Juno won’t originate a loan until a matching disclosure has been delivered through an E-SIGN consent step.
Collections inside the rules
Reg F limits on how often and when you call, state caps on late fees, validation notices and the CFPB limit of two failed payment attempts are all enforced by the system itself.

State Rules Engine
Rules with effective dates for all 50 states, DC and Puerto Rico, layered over federal law: APR and contract-rate caps, fee caps, minimum terms and rebate restrictions. Overlapping rules are rejected.

Products & Pricing
Pricing starts with the fees and the APR is derived using Appendix J. Choose simple or precomputed interest, and Rule of 78, actuarial or pro-rata rebates where state law permits them.
Reg Z Appendix J
Origination & Underwriting
Applications carry employment and income verification, bureau inquiry records with their permissible purpose, and a military-status check. Every approve, refer, decline or withdraw decision is recorded.
Evidence-Led
Adverse Action
Decline reasons come from the Reg B model list. The adverse action notice is written in the same transaction as the decline and then kept in a searchable register.

Borrowers & Employers
US addresses with ZIP+4. The full SSN is never stored, only the last four digits, a keyed hash and an AES-256-GCM encrypted copy. Employers carry their payroll calendars.
SSN Protection
Loan Ledger
Posting, allocation and reversal work against obligations rather than a fixed schedule. Disbursements, fees, payments and write-offs can each be traced to the rule that allowed them.
Obligation-Based
ACH & Payroll Payments
Bank accounts, Reg E authorizations and revocations, NACHA file generation, handling for 13 ACH return codes, and employer payroll remittances posted to the ledger.
NACHA · Reg E
Loan Servicing
Payoff quotes are calculated two independent ways and have to agree. Forbearance, deferral, refinancing and daily interest accrual are handled here too.
Payoff · Forbearance
Military Lending
MAPR is checked against the 36% MLA cap, payroll-allotment products are blocked for covered borrowers, and the SCRA 6% cap re-amortizes the loan automatically.
MLA · SCRA
Collections
Delinquency is calculated in a way that is safe to re-run. Late fees respect state caps, and the Reg F seven-calls-in-seven-days limit, time and place rules and validation notices are built in.
FDCPA · Reg F
Compliance Documents
Approved, versioned and dated wording is assembled into TILA disclosures, loan agreements and notices, frozen with a SHA-256 manifest and delivered after E-SIGN consent.

Audit & Security
Single sign-on, role-based access, an audit copy with triggers on every business table, soft delete only and a full application log.

04
Ongoing
Live Lending & Evolution
The same team stays with you afterwards, adding new states, products and rule changes through configuration.
One core, two rulebooks
Both editions are built on the same foundations as Athena and share more than 1,400 components, from the document engines to identity, the data layer and the design system. Every table keeps a full audit history, nothing is ever hard-deleted, and every user action is logged. Pricing, the ledger and collections are written for each market’s law, and in the US, Social Security numbers are encrypted and never stored in plain text.
